About Us
The Rental Housing Association
Serving Southern Alameda County
The RHA was founded as a 501(c)(6) trade association in 1967 under the name Apartment Owners Association of Southern Alameda County. Today we are known as the Rental Housing Association (RHA) - Serving Southern Alameda County and serve hundreds of rental property owners and operators. Our members provide over 39,000 rental homes in Alameda County. RHA works with many local business groups that protect your/our interests in Sacramento.
While RHA membership includes numerous publication subscriptions, magazine publication is not our main aim. Whether or not your a large REIT, or the owner of a single family rental, our focus is to provide you with the advocacy, education, tools forms and assistance you need to succeed in business.
- The RHA is legitimate member-controlled 501(c)(6) trade-association and is not a business that profits from membership.
- We do not sell or give your information to vendors.
The RHA is governed by a Board of Directors, which is elected by the general membership. We serve the cities of Dublin, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Pleasanton, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Union City. We also serve the unincorporated areas of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol.
